Thank you for your interest in The Yul Brynner Head and Neck Cancer Foundation and Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week. We are excited about the plans for a National Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Program taking place April 7-13, 2003. You can play an integral part in these events as well as future growth of the Foundation to further our goals of curing and preventing head and neck cancer as well as providing more support for existing survivors and increasing funding for head and neck cancer research.

We are asking you to help in the following ways:

1. Distribute information to fellow coworkers, patients, and the general public about the event and the Foundation by providing copies of our mission statement.

2. Develop a Free Screening Day in your home town on April 11th, 2003.

3. Join The Yul Brynner Head and Neck Cancer Foundation to provide continued support to patients diagnosed with this disease nationwide. The Foundation will maintain a database of all members nationwide for patients to contact locally for information regarding head and neck cancer treatment.

4. Contact your local media and hospital public relations/marketing offices to encourage distribution of information regarding these events in your region.

We hope through the help of patients, health care personnel, and the general public that we can finally make a difference in the awareness, education, treatment, prevention, and cure of head and neck cancer.
